- Included Connection Balance Board The BC6DX includes the 2S through 6S balance board for JST-XH balance taps. Optional balance taps include EAC129 for Thunderpower / Flight Power, EAC123 for Hyperion / Polyquest, and EAC128 for Kokam / Graupner. See our Balance Tap Configuration Guide if you are not sure what balance board you need. - Dual input power BC6DX employs a circuit that can be operated at AC (Alternating Current) or DC (Direct Current) input power. The charger contains a AC-DC switching power supply which has maximum output power of 60 watts for charging. As a result, it can charge up to 15 cells of NiCd/NiMH and 6 series of Lithium batteries. There may be the limit of feeding current to a higher voltage battery. Please refer 'Maximum circuit power chart'. - Individual voltage balancer for Lithium batteries buit in The BC-6DX has an individual-cell-voltage balancer built in. So it does not need an external balancer when charging Lithium batteries (LiIo/LiPo/LiFe) for cell balancing. - Balance individual cells on discharge The BC-6DX also can monitor and balance individual cells on Lithium batteries during the discharge process. If the voltage of any one cell varies abnormally, the process will be stopped with an error message. - Accept various types of Lithium chemistries The BC-6DX can accept three types of Lithium batteries - LiIo, LiPo and LiFe. They have different characteristics by their chemistry. - Lithium battery 'Fast' and 'Storage' mode 'Fast' charge reduces the charging time of Lithium batteries and 'Storage mode controls the final voltage of the battery for long time storage. - Data store/load Up to 5 data memories. Each memory can be recalled at any time you need without reprogramming. - Cyclic charging/discharging Perform 1 to 5 cycles of charge>discharge or discharge>charge continually for battery refreshing and balancing. - PC based analysis using USB communication BC6DX offers PC based program can analysis the characteristic of the battery via USB port. It shows a graph of voltage, current, capacity and temperature curves. It also shows the individual voltage of each cell in the Lithium battery pack. The firmware can be upgraded from internet download, when the newer version is released.
