Witness the worlds most demanding R/C Helicopter stunts ! In a textbook joint venture we have joined forces with 60 people in the R/C sector to successfully turn the film project " Remote Madness " into reality. Emerged from these efforts has a DVD that is both unique and brilliant, and which does not only show the most spectacular R/C helicopter stunts to date, but also sheds light on the backgrounds and technology behind it. Run time 110 Min. The DVD shows 14 absolutely crazy stunts that should definitely not be tried at home! It starts out with a series of 3D stunts, which may not sound very special, except the pilot is a passenger in a fullsize Alouette II! Next is the "Rocket-Copter", where model helicopters are "assisted" by rocket boosters; 8 kg total thrust are more than enough to see a 90-size model go vertical! The madness continues with the landing of a Henseleit Three Dee NT on a wall, more exactly speaking the vertical section of a river bridge. And no, this is not a joke! Right after this, the guys see what happens if a Raptor 90 flies through a 12 bar high power water jet. It gets even more dangerous when a motorcycle stuntman attempts to jump over a 90-size heli hovering inverted just inches above the ground. Next is "Living fast!": Here pilot Tobias Wagner stands on a ladder and sees if he can fly his Henseleit Three Dee MP under himself through the ladder. Certainly not a good moment to get shaky fingers! In "Touch & Go" two insane 3D pilots try to touch skids with their helis – and yes, one is upside down! Right after this comes the next insane action – and a funny one! An electric Hornet micro heli is being thrown from the roof of a multi-storey car park, and the pilot standing at the foot of the building has just a few seconds to wind up the blades before it hits the ground! Needless to say he gets more than he bargained for … Next comes "The Race", an action which was more than hard to turn into a reality: A drag race between a 90-size Three Dee NT and a German high speed train – certainly one of the fastest trains in the world! The air is literally torn apart when this odd pair of high tech machines rushes down the track. After so much action follows an absolutely awesome night flight where 4 kg of fireworks are launched from a Hirobo Twister, choreographed with wonderful music. In "The Bridge Loop" a heli is looped around a river bridge – and that's not enough! Since the banks are tightly packed with trees, the pilot has to stand in the water … For those of you who have ever wondered why it is almost impossible to restart a rotor disc after a blade-stop auto, HeliGraphix try a series of novel experiments that demonstrate the problems perfectly. And needless to say, to make certain they have it right, they finally drop a Raptor 90 out of a fullsize heli in a height of 600 feet. The last stunt came about from a challenge where a model was vertically challenged (it couldn’t take off…) so they added four rockets to give it a hand… you need to see the outcome to believe it!
