Not sitting on their laurels for winning the '07 3D Masters and '08 XFC championships with the .90 Turbulence D3, Hirobo decided to make the most competitive 3D .50 size heli available anywhere... the new SDX!. Not another upgrade, this "from-the-ground-up" design contains the new FZ-5 Rotor Head that's based on the SSZ-4 used in the Turbulence D3. The pilot now has the most precise control ever developed for a .50 size ship. The new design 90/120/135 swash plate allows about 60% more aileron/elevator movement and eliminates interaction when difficult 3D maneuvers are flown. A host of new designs abound, from fuselage to tail blades and everything in between. The SDX is "THE .50" for the 21st century.
